Assistance
The response to Hurricane Harvey's devastation was incredible. Resources poured into the flooded area almost as swiftly as the rising waters. Help came from every quarter imaginable.
While the storm still raged, civilians banded together to set up makeshift high water rescue units, City Officials deployed police, EMS, and fire rescue units to areas that needed the most help.
Immediately following the storm Federal Agents, National Guardsmen, and Coast Guardsmen moved in to assist with restoring order and rescuing those in need.
In the aftermath of the storm more support entered Southwest Texas in the form of volunteer organizations, federal relief workers, and neighboring city and state organizations.
